The “SUNRISE – H2020 Colloquium” Workshop, organized at the initiative of the W-SMART Association with the collaboration of UNESCO-IHP, AMWA (American Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies), NACWA (National Association of Clean Water Agencies), and hosted by VITENS, is expected to provide an international forum for bringing together drinking water and wastewater utilities, local governments, R&D institutions, international organizations and other stakeholders. Its purpose is to provide an experience sharing platform of lessons learned for interactive assessment of climate change challenges, the threats and opportunities they pose to our local governments and water operators as well as smart utility networks solutions and response adaptation strategies to ensure the security and sustainability of our vital metropolitan water supply service.
