Partner 14: CITC
The Innovative Centre on Contactless Technologies (CITC) is a non-profit organization located in Lille (Northern France). The CITC brings together the contactless technology skills and the existing experimentation platforms in the north of France and the Euro regions (Belgium, UK, Netherlands, Germany) and is backed by over 250 members and partners. It is a centre for resources, experimentations and technical expertise in terms of identification, traceability, mobility and geo-location. It supports the appropriation of contactless technologies (RFID, NFC, wireless sensor networks), the standardized and innovative solutions and the development of new activities with high potential. The CITC will provide its expertise in the field of wireless sensor networks which is a key point for the success of the demonstration platforms as many sensors (and actuators) will have to communicate together to provide relevant data.
