Acciona Agua has validated the nano::station from s::can at its R&D facilities in El Prat del Llobregat.
Different experiments to assess the response of s::can sensors to sudden changes of water quality were carried out by spiking different substances into the medium. As a result, nano::station presented a rapid response to change of salinity, turbidity and fouling. After this successful validation at the laboratory, the nano::station will be installed in the city of Burgos for further validation at real conditions, where the event detection system, which is part of the s::can software running on the con::cube terminal, will be also assessed.
